Ouri Bronchti

Ouri studied and worked as staff accompanist at the Conservatoire of Lausanne (Switzerland). He then moved to London, where he studied at the Royal College of Music (with Roger Vignoles, John Blakely and John Constable) and at the National Opera Studio (supported by the Friends of Covent Garden, a Nelly Gronen Bursary and John Wates).  During his time at the RCM, Ouri played for all the main vocal masterclasses and won the accompanist prizes of the English Song and Lies Askonas competitions.

Ouri then worked as repetiteur (trainee) at the English National Opera. Since then, he works as free-lance accompanist and vocal coach. Ouri recently worked with companies such as the English National Opera, Royal Opera House, European Opera Centre, English Touring Opera, Royal College of Music Opera, and Classical Opera Company. He also worked for the Bregenzer Festspiele and for the academy in the festival of Aix-en-Provence.

Future projects include “Cavalleria Rusticana” (Mascagni), “Pagliacci” (Leoncavallo), “The Barber of Seville” (Rossini) and “Aida” (Verdi) for ENO, “Pélleas et Mélisande” for Independent Opera and Into the little Hill (George Benjamin) for Opera Group.
