After studying accompaniment and solo piano in Switzerland, Ouri was offered a position of staff accompanist in Lausanne’s HEM at only 22 years old. After four years there he decides to further his education at the Royal College of Music, London. He studies with Roger Vignoles and John Blakely (accompaniment), John Constable (opera repetiteur) and Neil Thompson (conducting). He then completes his education at the National Opera Studio and at the English National Opera as trainee.
Since then he works as free-lance repetiteur, assistant-conductor, accompanist and vocal coach.
In September 2014, he will take a new position at La Monnaie Opera (Brussels) as musical assistant and repetiteur.
